Frequently asked questions
What is the process for buying, selling or donating?
If you are a company wishing to give a second life to your unsold goods :
First step: add your unsold goods on the CircularPlace platform, using an EAN barcode scan. If you do not have this EAN code, we suggest you fill out a form manually.
Second step: find takers for your unsold items, our platform takes care of proposing your items to other companies who will offer the best price on your unsold items through an auction system.
Third step: if your unsold items have not found a buyer, we offer your items to needy charities, to whom you can donate your unsold items.
Fourth step: your buyer or the association to which you donated your unsold goods confirms the condition of your lot. Once compliant, you will receive a tax receipt that you can then deposit on the platform.
Fifth step: we certify your compliance with the AGEC Act with a certificate.
If you are a destocking or reconditioning company:
Step one: make an offer to bid to the company that has a lot or unsold item you are interested in.
Second step: If the company chooses your offer, you will receive a notification.
Step 3: Proceed to the payment of the lot.
Fourth step: choose your carrier, and the lot is sent to you as soon as possible.
Fifth step: you certify or not the conformity of the condition of the items.
If you are an association:
First step: apply for the lot of your choice by telling the donor company why you want to receive the donation.
Step 2: You will receive a notification after 7 days, indicating whether or not your donation request has been accepted.
Third step: the donation is sent to you, paid for by the company.
Fourth step: you certify or not the conformity of the condition of the item(s).
Fifth step: print the corresponding tax receipt on our marketplace.
What happens if I can’t find a buyer, association or recycling organization?
If your company cannot find a buyer, a donation association or a specialized recycling organization, we will provide you with a free certificate attesting that you have tried everything to resell, donate or recycle your non-food waste.
This certificate will allow you to be in conformity with the AGEC law, and if necessary, to destroy your products in all legality.
How much does it cost me to buy on CircularPlace?
Registration on our CircularPlace platform is completely free, whether you are a company, a buyer or an association. CircularPlace takes a 10% commission for every successful transaction.
Whether your product finds a buyer or not, we provide you with a free certificate attesting that you are in compliance with the AGEC law.
