On November 24, 2022, as part of the anti-waste law, the Secretary of State, Bérangère Couillard and the Minister of Ecological Transition, Christophe Béchu proposed five measures that aim to give a boost in the transformation of the textile sector.
Objective: by 2027, the government hopes that at least one out of two garments will be recycled.
The textile sector is the second most polluting industry in the world after oil. And for good reason : it is responsible of10% of greenhouse gas emissions. This industry is polluting in part because of the manufacture of the garment, it requires chemical substances and artificial elements, but also requires many resources such as water and energy among others.
Thus, CircularPlace also accompanies you in your zero carbon footprint approach with its anti-waste solution. CircularPlace has developed a marketplace connecting companies with associations and recyclers in order to valorize unsold and stagnant stocks.
We also provide you with an impact calculation for each of your sales and/or purchases, to allow you to consume with the least impact on the environment.
