You’ve all heard about the switch from disposable to reusable tableware from McDonalds. This chain produced more than 115 tonnes of disposable packaging waste every day in France. Thus, we are pleased to welcome our fifth guest:Benjamin Peri, co-founder of Pyxo, the reuse platform for packaging, which notably supported McDonalds in their transition to reusable tableware.
While jogging, Benjamin is struck by the massive quantity of waste produced by takeaway sales on a daily basis. Driven by the desire to offer a sustainable alternative to single-use packaging, he resolved to act. It is in this context that Benjamin joins forces with François, a friend met during their years of study at Centrale Paris, in order to combine their skills in the face of ecological challenges. This is how in 2018, the Pyxo project was born.
