According to a study conducted by ADEME in 2019, the value of non-food unsold goods was equivalent to over 4 billion euros.
This figure represents on average 3% of the companies’ turnover. Thus, we note that generally unsold products are caused by overproduction, but also by marketing obsolescence, notably:
The AGEC law (anti-waste law for a circular economy) is one of the solutions provided by the French state to these issues.
This legislation, applicable as of January 1, 2022, aims to reduce waste in France, while regulating the production and management of non-waste ( unsold goods).
In fact, this law requires any organization that generates non-food unsold goods to:
⁃ First, resell its unsold goods.
⁃ Then, donate its unsold goods to associations.
⁃ Finally, reeuse ou recycle your unsold goods before destroying them!
CircularPlace directly responds to the need of this compliance, through resale, donation and/or reuse, we allow your unsold goods and non-food customer returns to have a second life.
We help your company adopt a more circular and responsible economy for our planet!
